About

The Tooting Pollinator Paradise Competition is being run by Transition Town Tooting, a local community-led initiative that seeks to raise awareness locally of the effects of Climate Change and the impact of human activities on the environment and in light of this aims to engage the whole community in rethinking how we live.
To find out more about Transition Town Tooting and the other projects we are involved in, check out our website, twitter and facebook pages.

The goal of our competition is to promote the growing of plants to provide healthy environments and food for pollinators and other beneficial insects (such as bees, honeybees, butterflies, beetles, moths and wasps) in the city.

Seed funding from The National Lottery Community Fund, distributed by Transition Network, has helped us to run this competition. Thanks to all National Lottery players for making this possible.
You can find more information about our funding at Transition: Bounce Forward.
